Accessibility

The barrier-free entrance is located to the right of main entrance.

Large parts of the Übersee-Museum are accessible for people with impaired mobility and users of wheelchairs, and here, in particular, the newly-designed permanent exhibitions can be accessed by wheelchair.

The museum has restroom facilities for persons with disabilities, both in the main building as well as in the “Übermaxx” exhibit depot.

By Bus & Tram

You can reach the Übersee-Museum Bremen with the tramways 1, 4, 5, 6, 8, 10 and the bus lines 24, 25, 26, bus stop central railways station. The Übersee-Museum is also located directly next to the Central Bus Station (ZOB), where numerous long-distance coaches stop.

By Train

The Übersee-Museum is situated directly at Bremen’s central train station. Travellers arriving by train should take the exit going in the direction “City” and turn right at the train station square. The main entrance of the Übersee-Museum is located at the end of the grass meadow.
