People and their personal stories are at the heart of “America.” Eight film portraits weave the exhibition’s central thread through its four main themes – immigration, religion, politics & society, and global trade – and take visitors into the lives of the protagonists. The diverse motivations for and consequences of immigration to North and Latin America serve as the starting point for the exhibition.
