In cooperation with the Sealaska Heritage Institute, the Übersee-Museum presents the fascinating culture of the Tlingit from Southeast Alaska in this cabinet exhibition. The focus is on the Bremen Tlingit collection, one of the oldest in the museum.

The reconstruction works for the new Oceania exhibition have started. Therefore, necessary demolition work will take place from November 22 to 24, which can be very noisy. Special exhibition
It is a true multi-talent: from jeans to banknotes, it is almost unthinkable to imagine our everyday life without cotton. “100% cotton” takes a look at the cultural stories that this plant has been writing for 5,000 years and also ventures a glimpse into the future.
