What do lioncubs, a newborn kangaroo, great creasted grebe chicks an a butterfy-larva in common whith a human child?
An exciting time lies ahead for all of them. The time of growing up, when you have to conquer the world and learn a lot – not least to preserve your own kind.
From October 2, the Übersee-Museum Bremen dedicated a special exhibition to this special phase of life with “Junge Wilde (Young and Wild)”.
On their tour, visitors young and old can discovered, for example, the very different ways in which insects, reptiles, birds and mammals give birth to and raise their offspring. At the same time, they also learned about the dangers and challenges that animals around the world have to face in order to reproduce successfully – and what strategies they have developed to do so.
