Special exhibition “Magic”

Until 7 April 2026

An enchanted forest, a witch’s hat, a magic show, black magic…

Magic is the ability to alter the ordinary course of events through the use of occult powers or to influence our perception through the use of illusions. Throughout its long history, both here and there, magic has fluctuated between belief and knowledge, between evil and good intentions, between secrecy and spectacle.

From the natural magic of wolves and black elderberry to healing stones and Robert Houdin’s stage magic – “magic” is illusion, enchantment, superstition, and an intoxication of the senses.

Many paths open up through the forest of magic… Come on in!
