The blue continent – platform for dialog, perspectives and insights around the Pacific region

What does a museum know about the objects in its collections? There are many connections between people and museum objects that are not sufficiently accounted for in the museum’s knowledge systems. The blue Continent is an online platform that brings some of these connections to life.

On the website you can discover the background to the museum’s work, a wide range of information about the environment and sustainability in Samoa, various experiments and artistic insights as well as Pacific perspectives. The platform brings together all the results, impressions and artistic works that were created over the course of the two-year collaboration project.
