The Übersee-Museum offers a broad programme of events for adults on the varied topics of our museum. In addition to classic guided tours, you will find special offers such as museum talks, musical or creative workshops and more.

The team of the Learning and Public Engagement department will be happy to advise you and answer your questions about the individual options.

Are you interested in an individual package? Then this is also the right place for you. Various formats of the museum can on request be booked for private groups. From themed birthday tours to playing Javanese gamelan instruments: We look forward to creating a special experience for your event together with you.

Demonstrations

Exotic indulgences: at the Übersee-Museum, there are regular opportunities to experience live rituals from overseas, such as a Japanese tea ceremony. The processing and preparation of coffee can also be experienced in a demonstration.
