In cooperation between the senator for social affairs, children, youth and women Bremen and the Übersee-Museum Bremen, the handout “Africa – experience with all your senses” was created. It results from a kindergarten project with the same name that took place in the winter of 2013/14 at the Übersee-Museum Bremen. The focus was on promoting the intercultural, but also the social, personal and aesthetic competence of the participating children.
In this handout, the Übersee-Museum bundles materials and experiences from this project so that you as kindergarten teachers can implement the topic “Africa” in your own kindergarten. The handout is available as a booklet at the Übersee-Museum Bremen or can be downloaded here:
