Discovering the world: for children from the age of 4, the exhibitions of the Übersee-Museum open up the impressive diversity of the animal world of our earth – life-size and close to nature in scenically designed dioramas. They discover rare and unknown objects or customs from the everyday life of people from other cultures, and can find similarities to their own environment and identify differences.
The educational offers of the house include an address to all senses. Children can observe, use their language and listen. They can play instruments or try moving rhythmically. So-called “hands-on” objects invite visitors to touch them. By the way: kindergarten teachers as well as trainees and students for the preschool sector can also book the offers presented below as training courses.
