Our image of Africa today is still an extremely distorted one. This workshop aims to show how culturally diverse the continent is, with an ancient history, thoroughly urbanized and not merely poor. Racist ideas originating from the time of European foreign domination continue to float around in our heads. Both before and after small group work in the exhibits, we talk about our Africa stereotypes.
