The events of the house create numerous opportunities to go on a journey of discovery, to experience new things and to become active together. The starting point are the exhibitions of the house. Whether Asia, Oceania or Africa – they not only shrink long distances to excursion size, but also provide unique insights into the nature and culture of other countries, combining entertainment and knowledge in a pleasant way.

Whether it’s lectures for children or birthday parties, vacation programs or family events, the Maki children’s club or museum rallies – the museum’s event formats are matched to different age groups and visiting situations. This makes a visit to the museum an experience for the whole family! By the way: the convenient location of the house directly at Bremen’s central station allows a comfortable arrival by public transport. Gastronomy and the museum shop offer the opportunity to relax or to “take home” the visit at the museum.
